We’re a studio combining design intuition with technical thinking.
We work with clients directly — no layers, no handoffs. The people who talk to you are the people who build your site. This keeps things lean, honest, and moving at a pace that actually serves the work. Most of our projects come through conversation — someone who worked with us before, or someone who found us through work they admired.
The Team
We work with a wide network of designers and illustrators. Each project is better for it.
Ishan came to the web from civil engineering, drawn to building and problem-solving in new forms. He starts each day with the crossword and a coffee, then gets into designing, developing, and keeping pace with what's new. Believes in intuitive design, open source, and original thinking.
Mehr came to the web from craft and textiles, bringing a visual and intuitive eye. She works best with headphones on and coffee at hand, moving across many ideas before drawing them into clarity. Drawn to the diversity each client brings, and to noticing what's missing — then filling the gaps.
Ollie Pollie
Ollie keeps the studio on schedule. He has a routine, and he will enforce it. He attends every meeting, holds strong opinions on most things, and keeps them entirely to himself. Reliably the most excited one in the room when someone new walks in.

Every project starts with a conversation. We move deliberately, choosing the right tools, working openly, and finishing with care.
We start with a conversation
We take the time to understand the client, their business, and their users. How it will be used, who it is for, and the level of complexity it needs to support, both in use and in management. We also try to understand the visual language the client connects with and the types of content we will be working with.
Choose stack & framework
We choose the tech stack based on the project and its users. We work with tools we trust, but stay open, expanding our stack as new needs emerge. We prefer to work with open source tools.
Design and build, in tandem
Design and development progress side by side. A working link is shared early and updated as we go, so you can follow progress and respond to it at every stage.
Refine where it matters
Before handover, we refine the details — from SEO metadata and open graph images to performance and accessibility checks. What you receive is thoughtful, complete, and made to hold up.
